The stories to reconstruct what happened that day are fragmented at various times, after seven Army soldiers kidnapped an 11-year-old girl, took her to a remote area and raped her. The indigenous guard Maximiliano Queragama remembers the 15 hours of searching through the thick jungle; the governor of the Dokabu reservation Juan de Dios Queragama, the disconsolate face of the relatives who supposed the worst; and Felicinda, sister of the minor, is very present when they found her crying near a stream with her clothes torn.
The rumor about the aberrant fact reached the Dokabu reservation at ten in the morning the following day. The most restless went out to accompany the indigenous guard to remove the Vulture II squad from the Eighth Brigade of the National Army, only armed force in the area.
The youngest was seen walking on Sunday in the Santa Teresa community, very close to the Santa Cecilia district. She walked and ran with the other children of the place. At noon, they bathed in the San Juan River, played mermaids, and then she went up to her house, a small board ranch with no doors or windows. Her sister Felicinda sent her to pick up some guavas to eat in the afternoon, and she left alone. She had nothing to fear if nothing had ever happened. The girl moved away from the populated center to get the best fruits. On the way she met her executioners.
