“TTT Rīga” beat the basketball players of “Rīga Stradiņa University” (RSU) with a score of 87:37 (25:4, 27:12, 22:9, 13:12) at home and were 2-0 ahead in the series up to two wins.

Among the winners, Ieva Pulvere was the most productive with 25 points, Evelina Otto scored 14 points and won six balls under the basket, and Louise Anna Silas scored another 13 points.

Elsa Bieriņa stood out with nine points in the RSU team, while Luīze Šepte and Anita Miķelsone, who also grabbed seven rebounds, scored seven points each.

On Thursday, in the first game, “TTT Riga” won 73:46.

“TTT Rīga” also triumphed in the Baltic League this season, ending the tournament without losses, while RSU’s unit ranked eighth with a 10-12 record, without entering the playoffs.

The two teams met twice in the Baltic League this season, in which “TTT Rīga” basketball players won 73:55 and 82:64.

In the semifinals, “TTT Riga” beat “Daugavpils University” 2-0, while RSU won 2-1 over “Liepāja”/LSSS.

In the previous season, in the Latvian championship, “TTT Rīga” beat RSU basketball players 2-0 in the final series.
