This Wednesday the murder was recorded, in broad daylight, of Nichelle Thomas, a American 51 years old.
The crime occurred in the district of Brooklyn, located in the city of New York.
According to the local media ‘New York Post’, the person who shot Thomas was Latisha Bell, who was identified as his ex partner.
The murder, perpetrated at 1:00 pm on April 21 in the Park Slope neighborhood, was registered in a video of a security camera in the sector.
In the clip you can see that Bell approaches from behind his ex-partner while she is on the street. After that, he points the gun at his head and shoots.

According to the aforementioned media, Thomas was transferred to a medical center in the area, where he died.
The local authorities assured that the two women had a romantic relationship, but do not know when they distanced themselves.

According to the ‘New York Post’, sources close to the case mentioned that it is most likely that this murder corresponded to a crime of passion, although the investigations are still ongoing.
Just hours after shooting, the authorities captured Thomas and charged him with the crimes of murder and possession of weapons.
Some residents of the neighborhood where the murder took place were quite surprised by what happened.

This is the case of a store worker, identified as Mohammed Ali, who, in statements to the aforementioned media, commented: “I have worked for 12 years in this sector and I have never seen anything like this”.
