A big scandal broke out in Great Britain. At its core is the great grandson of Queen Elizabeth II – Prince William.
A video surfaced of him arguing with a photographer. The footage was filmed outside the Dukes of Cambridge’s home at Anmer Hall in Sandringham.
Because of the scandalous footage, Kensington Palace had to come out with an official position, writes jenata.blitz.bg.
It all happened while Prince William was cycling in front of his home. Seeing the photographer, he remarks to him that he is harassing his family. The palace is adamant that this is a violation of the family’s privacy.
In addition, royal family officials have requested that the video be removed from the internet. Royal aides are reportedly working to have the video removed from all online platforms.
The video was filmed in January 2021, but only appeared online this week and immediately went viral.
In the video, Prince William tells the man behind the camera: “You were waiting for us here.”
Off-screen, Kate Middleton can also be heard saying: “We were out for a bike ride with our kids, we saw you at our house.”
Prince William then bursts into an angry monologue:
“How dare you act like that? Look what you are doing to our children? How dare you? Walking around here looking for us and our children?
You are scandalous, you are disgusting. How dare you act like that? You are very aware of what you are doing. Why are you here?”.
Before leaving, the Duke of Cambridge told the photographer: “Thanks for ruining our day… I thought you’d learned by now.”
In the video, the person who recorded the footage denied any wrongdoing.

The couple’s three children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four, are not seen in the video but were apparently present at the incident, according to the prince’s reaction. The way he reacts is explained by the bitter experience his family has. As a student, he constantly witnessed paparazzi stalking his mother, Princess Diana. In the end, such a pursuit ended tragically – Diana died in a car accident while hiding from reporters.
Prince William has spent years perfecting his relationship with the press. He shows a small number of pictures of his children each year in recognition of their future public role, but insists on complete privacy at the same time.
The British media also do not publish photos or videos of the royal family taken in such informal situations.
Prince William has previously warned of the dangers of social media and the reluctance of its leaders to address a range of issues affecting users.
“I am very concerned that on all the issues they are facing – fake news, extremism, polarization, hate speech, trolling, mental health, privacy and harassment – our technology leaders seem to be falling behind,” he said in 2018
