First hail and thunderstorms. Then very quickly, violent showers fell on a farm in the Sarthe, in Domfront-en-Champagne. They flood a hangar, as can be seen in the TF1 report at the top of the article. The owner is not at the end of his surprises. On his way to his fields, Julien Lep discovers the damage. The hail destroyed part of his barley crops: “She was able to break strands, that is to say that it bends the stem in half and it prevents the grain from being fed.”

A little further, part of the corn is under water. But this time, the farmer seems the least worried. “She slashed the leaves, luckily she hasn’t done too much damage to me yet. The heart is not affected. This will slow down the corn a little but it will start again”he believes.
