Video: Virgin Hyperloop presents what traffic will look like in 2030

The Hyperloop system promises to travel the future, when capsules with passengers are to move at high speed in a vacuum through a complex of tunnels. A few companies are involved in the implementation of the Hyperloop project, one of which is Virgin Hyperloop. It was this company that did it last year the first test drive with human passengers. In the Nevada desert, a pair of volunteers sat in the cabin of the Hyperloop and rode at a speed of 170 km / h. –

Virgin Hyperloop has now released a video on YouTube showing its design of the entire transportation system. This is what it could look like in 2030, when the company plans to start operations for passengers. This concept was created in collaboration with the Danish architecture company Bjarke Ingels and Teague, an industrial design company.

In the video itself, it is possible to see the Hyperloop boarding station, which resembles a train station or a metro station. After passing the security check, the passenger can get into the attached transport capsule, which does not lack a toilet and seats for up to 28 passengers in one cabin are arranged similarly to, for example, a train. There is also a modern look, the ability to charge the electronics and interesting interior lighting to make passengers feel as comfortable as possible. After boarding, the individual cabins move from the side tunnels to the main one and the system should then automatically maintain a safe distance between each set. In the case of branches, the system of individual transport cabins should be able to know for itself which way to take.

At speeds of over 1000 km / h, passengers will be able to travel in a short time, for example, between distant cities and will not have to use air transport. Hyperloop tunnels can run above and below ground, or even below sea. Virgin Hyperloop has previously stated that it wants to make the ticket price affordable so that high-speed transport can be used by a large number of people. If Hyperloop were too expensive, passengers would prefer a different mode of transportation.
