From summer to winter in a few hours. Denver and the Colorado region in the United States experienced a sharp drop in temperatures and a drastic change in weather. In 36 hours, the thermometer went from 32°C to – 1°C. Full sun gave way to snowfall. About 30 cm of fresh snow fell.

These sudden snowfalls led to the fall of trees and power lines. The trees – heavier because they have their leaves – fell on parked vehicles causing sometimes significant damage. More than 66,000 customers were without power on Saturday morning, according to the company Xcel Energy, says The Denver Channel. No injuries were reported.
