Reporters covering catastrophic weather conditions are part of the newscast tradition. However, when Mark Woodley, an American sportscaster, was sent on a middle-of-the-night mission to cover a snowstorm in Iowa, he expressed a desire to stay in bed rather than face the weather.
Journalist Mark Woodley, who works for broadcaster KWWL, gained popularity on Twitter with a collection of his best nighttime TV duplex moments. In these videos, we see him humorously complaining about having to work outdoors in cold and snowy weather. When asked how he feels, he sarcastically replies that he feels exactly like he did a few minutes ago when asked the same question.
Despite everything, he remains smiling and enthusiastic when he has to get up at an unusually early hour to be out in the wind, snow and cold, and warn people not to do the same.
