American rapper Eminem announced that it will be grandfather: His daughter Hailie Jade Scott, 28, is pregnant.
Eminem made the announcement in the video for his new song ‘Temporary‘
The clip for ‘Temporary’, a collaboration with singer Skylar Grey, intersperses videos of Scott’s childhood with stills from the influencer’s graduation and her recent wedding, where Eminem, dressed in a suit and wearing sunglasses Sol, accompanied her to the altar.
Towards the end of the video, a recording is shown in which Hailie Jade Scott announces to her father that she is pregnant by giving him an American sweater that says ‘grandpa’, while Eminem shows the camera the ultrasound of his future grandson in surprise.
The young ‘influencer’ and ‘podcaster’ got engaged in February 2023 to her boyfriend Evan McClintock, whom she had been dating since 2016.
In December 2022, during his birthday party, McClintok asked the rapper for his blessing to marry his daughter, as he himself said on Scott’s podcast, ‘Just a little shady’.
The ‘Without me’ singer already gave “the go-ahead” to his daughter’s relationship in an interview with American boxer Mike Tyson, in which he said that she made him feel “very proud.”
In his new song, Eminem leaves a message for Scott for when he is gone:
“Many people ask me if I am afraid of death. What scares me the most is not being able to tell you all the things I want to tell you when I’m not here. So this song is for Jade, for when that day comes,” says the artist at the beginning of the song.
After the video was published, Scott posted some photographs on Instagram in which she appears hugging her husband while holding the ultrasound of their future child. (EFE)
