The police officers of the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest caught in flagrante delicto, on Wednesday, two men, respectively 33 and 43 years old, immediately after committing a crime of theft, in Sector 3, the Capital Police announces.
“Around 7:30 p.m., the policemen of the Public Transport Police Brigade, in the exercise of their duties, caught two men red-handed, immediately after they allegedly stole a bicycle, which was parked in the specially arranged space in the area of a bus station bus, from Sector 3.
The suspects were immobilized and taken to hearings, and they were detained for a period of 24 hours. Yesterday, house arrest was ordered against the 33-year-old man, and judicial control was ordered against the 43-year-old man,” the police announced.
The bicycle, worth 300 euros, was recovered and returned to the owner.
The investigations are being continued by the Police Brigade for Public Transport, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the 3rd District Court, under the aspect of committing the crime of qualified theft.
