Mexico city, June 18 (However).– Tenoch Huerta Mejía, mexican actor, said that already it is time to revolutionize a little the head to stop do comedy that denigrates the other. His words were shared during the forum, “racism is not a joke”, in which he participated Chumel Torres.
“I also grew up with the comedy, but fuck it: I went to college and I think a little bit more and I can start to change my speech,” he said after Chumel Torres explain the comedy with which he grew up.
“We get paid to create speeches, as content creators, so that we can get a little more forward: moving from the comedy easy, where he denigrates a group to make laugh to others. Since its debut in 2006, Tenoch Huerta has played various roles in series and movies that have placed it as one of the best mexican actors. Among his films, most notable are Nesio (2008), where he gave life to a gang member, Without a name (2009), Hell (2010), Days of grace (2011), Get the Gringo (2012) to the side of Mel Gibson, The Author (2017), and the series of Netflix Narcos Mexico.
His successful career with over 30 films and seven series have combined to fight for various social causes. In the year 2019 participated in the documentary Mexico, in front of the mirror of racism and has also been part of campaigns for the National Council To Prevent Discrimination (Conaped), the more recent takes by title “#DesaprendamosElRacismo”, that part of the idea that people are not born racist, but what they learn, therefore they must unlearn.
