The stars are back on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. Above all, Oscar winner Penelope Cruz alongside director Pedro Almodovar. Cruz plays the leading role in Almodovar’s “Parallel Mothers”, the festival’s opening film. Unlike the competition in Cannes, the festival was not canceled here last year. But it is only this year that celebrities return to the Lido promenade in large numbers, including new and familiar faces.
