A camera inside a valuables transport car recorded the moment when he was attacked with firearms by motorized assailants in the city of Pretoria (South Africa), on April 22. The armored driver and his co-pilot were calmly moving around a wagon when they were surprised by several shots from a truck to the side, which hit the bodywork.
The video shows dents and bullet marks on the glass on the side of the man behind the wheel, who appears to be calm as he maneuvers through traffic to escape the attackers, who are insisting on the shooting. The guard next to him, much more nervous, takes a rifle and tries to call reinforcements by phone, at the request of his partner.
Shortly after the escape attempts, the driver stops, takes his colleague’s rifle, and gets out to confront the robbers, at which point the recording ends. According local media, the thieves fled empty-handed and no one has been arrested yet. The security vehicle was seriously damaged.
