The Libyan Red Crescent Society, Sabratha branch, announced the recovery of 17 bodies of illegal immigrants off the shores of the city of Sabratha.
The association stated in a post on its official Facebook page that the process of recovering the bodies took place yesterday, Saturday, in the presence of the Public Prosecution and the city police station.
The Crescent branch thanked and appreciated the humanitarian soldiers, the Public Prosecution, the Sabratha police station and the local authorities for their efforts in recovering the bodies despite the difficult weather conditions and the difficult locations of the bodies, and for providing some of the necessary needs to facilitate the work, and transporting the bodies to the designated places to complete the rest of the procedures.
