Alternative pop group “Sudden Lights” has released a third single from the upcoming studio album. “In the Shadow of Warm Summer” is a song about summer, about longing and love.
The single “In the Shadow of Warm Summer” continues the sound search of “Sudden Lights” that has been started so far, combining modern Indian stylistics with elements and references of various other music styles. The song was created as a soundtrack for last summer, telling about the experienced, felt and longed.
In the “warm summer shadow” key phrase, I wanted to include the incomprehensible nostalgic feeling that takes over as summer draws to a close. The song is about longing that never ends. One summer is passing and we are waiting for the next, ”the group’s soloist Andrejs Reinis Zitmanis. This time the video of the song was created using the behind-the-scenes moments of the band’s musicians from the past summer, the concerts, the creative process and the group’s daily life.
The new song was shown to a wider audience in front of the audience “Sudden Lights” for the first time in a concert on Wednesday evening at the Pardaugava cultural site “Balodis”. If for the first time it was played the audience was quite reluctant to support (to be honest, only half of all the concert attendees had gathered at that time), playing it “uz bis” again, there were much louder applause and shouts of appreciation – song nudien “Jumps” very quickly. “Sudden Lights” played for an hour “with kopecks” and it was amazing how much the group has managed to save a lot of good pieces in the relatively short time of its existence. Listeners will also be able to see this already this Saturday, August 21, at the Mežaparks Green Theater – “Sudden Light” will be the warm-up for the concert of the group “Astro’n’out”. The next concerts of the group will take place on August 27, in Jaunolaine, on the left bank of Lake Mežezers, but on August 28, “Sudden Light” will perform at the Milk Package Regatta in Jelgava.
