More than 150 affected families in nine neighborhoods left a strong electrical storm that appeared in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga.
The overflow of the La Iglesia creek overflowed and devastated everything in its path in the San Martin and San Pedro neighborhoods.
“We have several emergencies due to the overflow of the Río de Oro between Girón and Bucaramanga. The water entered the houses and rose almost a meter. Several families lost their belongings,” said Luis Ernesto Ortega, director of Risk Management in Bucaramanga.
“It was a huge scare, the water from the creek entered the houses and dragged several vehicles and motorcycles. I lost the fridge and the beds”Manuela Suárez, affected by the overflow of the La Iglesia creek.
