Where can you drill for natural gas in Lower Saxony? And is the drinking water in the country really safe? That’s what it was about today, Wednesday, in the Lower Saxony state parliament. The reason was three applications from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen. Among other things, they call for a complete stop to natural gas production in water protection areas.
