MENLO PARK, iNews.id – SpaceX has released a video featuring the reusable Starship spaceship. The video comes ahead of its first orbital test flight which is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
Once the next phase of testing is complete, SpaceX wants to fly the Starship unmanned to the Moon, landing it upright on the Moon’s surface. Then, bring it back to Earth. A crewed mission to the Moon is likely to follow. The ultimate goal is to send a manned Starship to Mars although don’t expect that to happen anytime soon, as quoted by Digital Trends.
Meanwhile, sit back and enjoy the 90-second Gateway to Mars video showing off Starship, with the Super Heavy rocket also appearing towards the end of the video. SpaceX has tested the Starship in a series of short-altitude flights.

The spacecraft, powered by six Raptor engines, performed well in the air but crashed late in the mission while trying to land upright, until its final flight in May when SpaceX finally made a successful landing.
SpaceX is currently awaiting approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to launch Starship aboard its new Super Heavy rocket that will send the spacecraft on its first orbital flight.
