I will not run for president. He said this in an interview for BG VOICE the leader of ITN Slavi Trifonov.
He explained that the referendum on a presidential republic has nothing to do with President Rumen Radev.
Trifonov added that he had a similar discussion with President Zhelev, who expressed the opinion that Bulgaria should have been a presidential republic, but there were more people who prevailed for the parliamentary republic.

When asked who his party would form a coalition with if he entered the parliament, Trifonov said that he mainly sees people with whom he has nothing in common. “If it depends on me, I will do my best to have a functioning parliament,” he emphasized.
Asked if he will become an MP after being the leader of two lists, he stated: “We will find out.”
