Video shows BMW X3 G45 with M Sport package

Even without an overly powerful engine, the new BMW X3 (G45) can make a convincing impression: The fourth generation of the mid-range SUV is currently being presented in the BMW Welt Munich in the form of the basic petrol X3 20 xDrive, but apart from the drive, the configuration is by no means reserved – M Sport package and individual paintwork in matt Frozen Pure Grey are combined with 19-inch rims and Iconic Glow kidney grilles. The latter are shown in the video by rsDrive Thanks to the dimmed lighting, the daytime running lights are just as effective as the even more intensely lit daytime running lights, which contribute to the distinctive nighttime look of the new X3.

Behind the 19-inch M light alloy wheels Y-spoke 1035 M Bicolor we see the dark blue painted brake callipers of the M Sport brake, which in the case of the X3 are also a clear indication of the M Sport package (without Pro): In the Pro version, the X3 not only gets black kidney surrounds and a few other sporty details, but also the more striking variant of the Sport brake with red painted callipers.

Thanks to the large, matt-gray painted surfaces, there is an attractive contrast to the smaller elements in high-gloss black in many places: starting from the central air intake below the kidneys, through the window surrounds, the roof rails and the darkened windows to the rear apron insert in the diffuser look, there are a large number of dark, shiny details.

Just like all other variants below the new X3 M50, the X3 20 does not have visible tailpipes, but it still throws more than 200 hp into the ring when needed: thanks to the 48-volt electrical system, up to 208 hp of system power and 330 Newton meters of torque are available.

While prices for the basic X3 theoretically start at 57,900 euros, a few optional extras add up to five-figure surcharges. So it’s not surprising that the BMW X3 20 shown also breaks the 70,000 euro mark in terms of base price.
