Neukirchen-Vluyn. Sparkasse: three times 250 euros for clubs in Neukirchen-Vluyn
The new Sparkasse trail for mountain bikes on the North German stockpile is already being used extensively shortly after it opened. “We are currently training here with 35 children and young people between the ages of eight and 15,” says trainer Marc Wehmeier from SG Neukirchen. Sparkasse board member Bernd Zibell met with some of them at the starting point of the approximately one kilometer long trail to draw extra donations of three times 250 euros for local associations. In the video of the raffle on the YouTube channel of the Sparkasse am Niederrhein, eleven-year-old mountain biker Finn Wehmeier draws the tickets.
This year the Sparkasse will transfer a total of around 183,000 euros to the clubs in Neukirchen-Vluyn. Again, the volunteer forum for the official handover of the donations could not take place due to the corona. “We still wanted to raffle the extra donations and were able to present the new Sparkasse Trail at the same time,” says Bernd Zibell. The Direct Refugee Aid, the Association of Free Evangelical Churches and the Knappenverein Glück-Auf Niederberg 2002 will receive three times 250 euros. In the next few days, the Sparkasse and the three associations that won the extra donations will report on what the money will be used for.
