After two years of absence due to Covid-19, the San Fermin festivities and their famous bull run are back. Saturday, July 9, during the third “encierro” of the week, two people were gored and four others transferred to hospital.

Every morning for 8 days, bulls are let loose in the streets of Pamplona. Hundreds of people try to get as close to it as possible. The race ends in the city’s bullring with a bullfight and the killing of the bulls. The festivities which began on July 6 will end on July 14. At each edition, the “encierros” cause dozens of injuries and sometimes deaths.
