An engineering vehicle for obstacle removal and clearance was destroyed with barrage ammunition.
The Russian Defense Ministry released a report on Monday video showing a Lancet loitering drone attack on an obstacle clearance engineering vehicle belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the border with Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
The Ministry of Defense said the movement of the military equipment was detected during reconnaissance activities. The attack was carried out with barrage ammunition after an analysis of previously obtained reconnaissance data.
“Objective control images obtained in real time demonstrated the destruction of the engineering machine,” the statement said, adding that attempts by the machine operators to extinguish the fire were unsuccessful.
