The climax of the evening went like a swing, the room went crazy. Minda had the favorite on the bucket in the 1st round when her knees bent after a right hook and the referee was close to ending it. Možný picked up from the last position for almost two minutes, but it lasted until the siren.
The Pole with the nickname “King Kong” went to great lengths to try and end the fight. Although he took Možné under him in the 2nd round as well, he was passive and had a hard time wiping out. When Možný came out of the lowest position, the exhausted opponent only got up after repeated calls from the referee.
One minute before the end of the round, Možný knocked him down with a double-sided combination. The referee ended the heavyweight duel after a subsequent flurry of shots.
The winner admitted that a few hours before entering the cage there was a threat to cancel the match: “I had a fever for two days, I was lying in extreme temperatures. Yesterday I weighed almost 124 kilos, I must have been under 120. With the temperatures to be discharged in the sauna … I was done. ‘
Možný was the first Slovak in the most prestigious kickboxing organization Glory. He has a record of 32-12 in this discipline. Cyril Gane also used it in preparation for the title fight in the UFC. In MMA, Možný only completed his second fight, in the first 11 years ago, he was disqualified for an illegal knee blow.
Minda last year in the Octagon title fight he won the 1st round against Martin Buday, the second Slovak in the UFC, but he also lost the duel one minute before the end of the 2nd round. He fell for the fourth time in the eleventh match.
Self-confident Fapšo lost, everyone is afraid of the opponent
Experienced fighter Joilton Lutterbach entertained Košice. He brought some samba to eastern Slovakia, made the audience dance before and after the match. In a heated main preliminary match under Thai boxing rules, he defeated Sebastián Fapš, eight years younger, with small gloves.
The Slovakian talent showed excellent physicality, aggression and resilience, but technically it was not enough for the Brazilian. Lutterbach was more precise and efficient, winning all three rounds in each of the point judges.
Still only 29 years old, Lutterbach has a respectable 36-10 record in MMA. He is 88th in the world welterweight rankings. He also has experience from the recognized organizations PFL, Cage Warriors, ACA, KSW and RCC.
RFA promoter Boris Marhanský confirmed that Lutterbach will show up in the organization and in MMAs. Most likely against a foreign opponent. “Lutterbach is an opponent that nobody wants to face in the Czech Republic and Slovakia”, the promoter revealed. Despite the defeat, he called Fapš a Czech-Slovak unit. It’s 9-3 after Saturday.
“I will be the best in the world,” Fapšo said in an interview with ŠPORT.sk. More here:

Avramović the executioner of famous names of the Octagon
Nenad Avramovic joined the RFA for many with a sensational victory over the Slovakian Milan Ďatelinkthat one match earlier he was attempting the Octagon title against Karlos Vémol.
Ĥatelinka then qualified for the fight for the belt by beating David Hošek, who was the second to have a chance against Avramović. The Czech striker was the favorite against the underrated Serbian, just like Ďatelinka, but he couldn’t resist either. Avramović had the upper hand during most of the match thanks to his advantages in fighting on the ground. Also, at the end of the 1st round, he made Hoško shake due to a sprained knee.

The Czech got his opponent in trouble twice, but Avramović instinctively saved himself with a takedown in both cases. After the unanimous verdict of the judges, he won on points.
The Serbian improved his record to 10-8 and came close to becoming one of the organization’s first champions. Hošek suffered his third defeat in the eleventh game.
Express KO of Wittner, will he be the first champion?
Jozef Wittner of Prešov enjoyed great support in Košice and cheered the fans after just 22 seconds. He sent Chris Astley to the ground with a left hook and promptly ended the fight with ground blows. The Englishman lost a six-game winning streak from smaller organizations.
Wittner improved his record to 16-2. Originally, his opponent was supposed to be Petr “Monster” Kníže, but a wrist injury eliminated the national scene legend, who was only defeated by Karlos Vémola and David Kozma in officially 15 games (unofficially 28).
The duel could take place on an alternate date, but promoter Boris Marhanský said: “Everyone wants to see the Wittner – ‘Monster’ match, and I think we will get there. We promised Jožka that the next match would focus on the title. That’s why I don’t think his next duel will be with the “Monster”.
And although Kníže is 153 positions higher than Wittner (165 – 318) in the world rankings, he is currently not in the game for the belt. “The chance of the title will be given to the guys who deserve it and will win at least two games in our organization”, added Marhanský.
