Video premiere: ANGER release the video for “OMW”

ANGER have made a name for themselves in recent years by constantly reinventing themselves. And yet there has always been one constant: catchy hooks. I shouldn’t change this with their latest track “OMW”. On a catchy hip-hop beat, which comes from Moritz Köller, it says: “Even if I don’t always understand you, I know that you understand me. On my way on my way.”

“OMW” tells the story of two individuals who go their own way in life and yet are committed to embarking on the great journey together. Each individual is strong enough to support and support the other person: “Only you can understand me, I’ve never seen the world.” It also shows that this journey makes you vulnerable and is not always easy.

The video for the song, which was released on May 20th, tells a similar story. Under the direction of Manuel Hauer (videos for Oska, Doppelfinger, Culk, AZE), the stories are told by two fictional characters. Nora plays the role of the tough, stressed-out businesswoman who is stressed out by her life and yet doesn’t want to show any weaknesses. On the other hand, Julian stands in stark contrast to the mountains with a certain closeness to nature. He seeks refuge in nature. If you believe the content of the song, both paths will meet again at the end of the clip.

The Austrian band ANGER will be playing at several festivals this summer, such as the Primavera Festival in Barcelona. But the band can also be seen in Germany at the Nuremberg Pop Festival.
