WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, TANJUNG PRIOK – The police from the Tanjung Priok Sector Police are hunting down the perpetrators of the disposal of babies in the Tanjung Priok sewer area, North Jakarta.
According to the statement from the Head of Tanjung Priok Police, Kompol Nazirwan, his party is conducting an investigation into the discovery of a baby boy who was already lifeless.
“We are still carrying out an investigation to uncover who carried out the disposal of this baby,” said Nazirwan when met at the Tanjung Priok Police Headquarters, Wednesday (17/5/2023).
“The baby’s body was found in a lifeless condition by the janitor who was carrying out cleaning activities at that time,” he continued.
Initially, the baby was found by PPSU Kebon Bawang officers while cleaning up trash in the sewer area.
After getting the information, the police went straight to the TKP to carry out identification.
“We have gone to the TKP to carry out TKP processing and the body has been taken to the RSCM to perform an autopsy,” he said.

It is not known when the poor baby was dumped. The police did not find any signs of violence on the victim’s body.
“Still being investigated, until now on the bodies of the bodies found no signs of violence,” he said.

Previously, the Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling Officer (PPSU) for Kebon Bawang Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta found the body of a baby, Wednesday (17/5/2023).
The male baby was found wrapped in a sweater in the gutter at Jalan Swasembada Barat XI, RT 09/RW 13 Kebon Bawang.
According to a PPSU official, Jainudin (37), the baby was found lifeless when officers were cleaning the sewer.

“It’s not that it’s not garbage, but this baby is wrapped in a jacket, sweater and bag. The position is over here, bang in the gutter, right above the tire,” said Jainudin at the location.
According to Jainudin, the baby’s body was found with the placenta still attached to the body.
It is suspected that the baby with a fresh body condition was recently dumped by an irresponsible person.

“The male sex still has an umbilical cord,” he said.
“So when I was here, I checked the channel, there was a package of sweaters, of course, the contents of the baby would be lifted,” he continued.
Now, the discovery of the body of a male baby is being handled by the Tanjung Priok Police. (m38)
