In La Malbaie on Sunday, feminist intervention groups from Charlevoix met to make their voices heard once again on the cause of justice for women.
Regional community workers and actresses united their voices at Quai Casgrain in La Malbaie. They held a rally there on the occasion of the World March of Women which was held all over the planet on this autumn day.

Lucie Bérubé, a retired former employee of the Center Femmes aux Plurielles, improvised a performance to conclude the mobilization using her native-inspired drum.

The “Feminist Voices of Charlevoix” consultation committee brings together the CALACS de Charlevoix, the Center-Femmes aux Plurielles, La Maison La Montée and the Center des femmes de Charlevoix. The committee supports the five national demands which concern the fight against poverty, non-violence, climate justice, the fight against systemic racism and discrimination, and the self-determination of indigenous women.
