Jack Doherty, a 21-year-old American content creator, smashed his McLaren on the highway this Saturday, while he was live on the Kick streaming platform. On the video of the accident, we see the young man looking and tapping on his phone just before losing control of his vehicle, in the pouring rain, and hitting the safety barrier. The live continues and other drivers come to help him get out of the vehicle. Once outside, he screams when he sees the damage before joining the passenger, who is slightly injured. The live continues for a few more minutes before being suddenly cut off. His streaming channel has just been suddenly banned from the Kick platform.
Jack Doherty has almost 15 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, whose welcome video is titled “I crashed my Lamborghini”. Very present on networks, notably Instagram and Tiktok, the young YouTuber creates content which recounts his (false) life as a young, extremely wealthy and frankly stupid influencer, notably provoking passers-by during his lives, always well protected behind the big arms of his bodyguard.
But behind the clashes and crashes not really in good taste, the young man has put in place a well-established strategy for a completely different business. All of its content on the different platforms is designed to garner as many views as possible and then serves to encourage its subscribers to click on other links (put in the description of its videos) which lead to the site… OnlyFans. This platform where people, often women, upload paid content, mostly erotic or pornographic. Jack Doherty has his own account and presents himself mainly as a “manager” who manages the pages of several women – including his girlfriend, McKinley Richardson – who give him part of their income.
