Video of Trump having difficulty breathing in the White House, experts call it far from healthy

WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – A video recording shows the US President Donald Trump difficulty breathing on returning to White House.

Trump returned to the White House after being treated for three days at military hospital Walter Reed Medical Center because Covid-19.

Reporting from Business Insider, Tuesday (6/10/2020), Trump left the hospital on Monday (5/10/2020) night even though he was still infected corona virus.

Arriving at the White House, he climbed the stairs, removed his mask on the balcony, saluted the departing helicopter, and stepped into the building.

The sequence appears designed to show that Trump has recovered and is back at work.

However, a number of health experts said that Trump looked far from healthy and appeared to be having trouble breathing.

University of Alberta Assistant Professor Ilan Schwartz said Trump’s breathing appeared abnormal.

A doctor in Britain also concluded from the tapes that the president appeared unwell.

“If you look at the video on the balcony of the White House, he (Trump) is clearly having trouble breathing,” Zoe Norris, a general practitioner and lecturer, told BBC Breakfast Tuesday morning.

After removing his mask, Trump stood for about two minutes, giving a thumbs-up, saluting the departing helicopter carrying him from the hospital, and entering the White House.

He made an inaudible comment to someone who was not in the camera’s shot.

In another video, which appears to have been shot shortly after returning to the White House, Trump claims he has recovered.

“Now I’m better and maybe I’m immune, I don’t know,” Trump said in the video, in which he appears to have no trouble breathing as he speaks.

Trump also told US citizens not to be afraid of Covid-19.

However, these comments were responded strongly by the Democratic presidential candidate (candidates) from the Democratic Party, Joe Biden.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment over a video showing Trump appearing to be having trouble breathing.

The image Trump is trying to portray through his return to the White House collides with the assessment of his medical team.

During a press conference on Monday morning, White House doctor, Sean Conley, told reporters that Trump was not completely out of the woods yet.

However, Conley said Trump’s oxygen levels and breathing were completely normal.

Conley said Trump would be “surrounded by world-class medical care 24 hours a day for seven days a week, even after he returns to the White House.

But Conley added it would take about a week before doctors know whether Trump has fully recovered.

“If we can get through to Monday (12/10/2020) with conditions that remain the same or develop even better, then we will all heave a sigh of relief,” said Conley.

Daniel Kaul, an infectious disease expert at the University of Michigan, said that people of Trump’s age with the same infection severity could experience symptoms for weeks.

Such patients, said Kaul, usually experience a fairly slow recovery, with weeks and sometimes months of cognitive difficulties, shortness of breath, and severe fatigue.
