On July 12, 2022, the two Swiss alpinists Nicolas Hojac and Adrian Zurbrügg climbed the Swiss Skyline Route from the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in the Bernese Oberland in a new best time of 13 hours and 8 minutes. In the video for their record ascent, the two comment on the fine line between speed and risk.
In the summer of 2022, Nicolas Hojac and Adrian Zurbrügg set a new speed record in the Bernese Oberland: in 13 hours and 8 minutes they mastered the Swiss Skyline (Lacrux reported), for which normal rope teams need four to five days. They beat the time of the previous record holder Ueli Steck by more than three hours.
