“I continue to cooperate with the investigation and I confess to the organization of mass riots (after the presidential election) in Minsk,” says the 26-year-old blogger on video. However, according to the leading Belarusian opposition politician Sviatlana Cichanouska, Pratasevich spoke on video under pressure.
–
“I can say that I do not have any health problems, including (difficulties) with the heart or other organs,” Pratasevich said in a video that also appeared, for example, on the Belarusian pro-government channel Zholtyje slivy.
–
Pratasevich was wearing a dark sweatshirt, sitting at a table, clasping his hands. He had visibly powdered scars on his face. In a 30-second record, he also said that he was in a remand prison in Minsk and that they treated him as correctly as possible.
–
The credibility of the video was immediately questioned by the father of the detained journalist. Dzmitry Pratasevich said in an interview with Current television that he had no information about where his son was now. And he has no reason to trust the video, which was published by the Lukashenko regime and where his son “confesses” to crimes.
–
“It is not possible to believe the information in the official video released by the authorities, which claims that Raman is in the 1st KGB Preliminary Detention Center, that everything is fine with him and that he confessed to everything,” said Dzmitry Prataševič.
–
During the interview, he also pointed out that there were signs of torture on his son: “As far as I know my son, I doubt that everything is fine with him now, because the video clearly shows traces of beatings. He is clearly nervous, he does not speak his own words. So I want to tell you now, release my son immediately! ”
