In a video montage showing a scene from the film “Willy Wonka in the enchanted country”, the Conservatives of Erin O’Toole accuse Mr. Trudeau of wanting to call an election to obtain a majority mandate.
“The only reason for the election is that Trudeau wants a majority”, we can read at the beginning and at the end of the video published only in English on the Twitter account of the party.
Subsequently, it is possible to see a photo of Justin Trudeau’s face fixed over that of the character Veruca Salt during the scene where the girl is in crisis.
The fictional Justin Trudeau then points to the word “majority”, which was also added to the edit, when saying “I want like that”.

On the melody of the song I Want it Now (I want it now), the character throws an item with the words “higher taxes” stamped on it. Angry, the character of Mr. Trudeau then splashes baskets on which it is written “balance the budget”.
The cut continues as the “Prime Minister” detonates a box tower inscribed with “the economy” with a basket of groceries on which can be read “Liberals”.
In the final moments, the lyrics of the song were changed. It is possible to hear the character of Justin Trudeau singing “Don’t care, I want majority”.
Finally, remember that everything indicates that Justin Trudeau will go to Rideau Hall this Sunday to dissolve Parliament and call an election. The election campaign will last 36 days, the minimum period allowed by law. In doing so, the ballot should be held on Monday, September 20.
