Video: Mirdza Martinsone, the gifted actress, reveals that she aspired to pursue a distinct career during her younger days.

Legendary domestic actress Mirdza Martinson shonevisiting the host of the TV talk show “Zilonis studija”. To Oscar Lepper revealed that she did not always want to become an actress. In fact, she dreamed of a completely different profession.

Oscar asks if the actress ever dreamed of becoming a famous actress admired by others?

“I had no desire to become an actress from the very beginning. I wanted, Oskar, to become a waitress,” says the actress.

“It was already, as you know, back then, I lived in the Soviet Union, I was born and went through all this… And then when I went to the store and stood in line, and watched the waitress cut the sausage with fat and ringed fingers! And everyone is standing there, in that line… Then I thought to myself – how would I like to be a barmaid, with such fat fingers and many rings,” says Mirdza with humor.
