Ella conquered the airwaves with “Et Bam!” and is already sold out. The singer Mentissa was in residence at the Rocher de Palmer de Cenon to prepare for her tour in France and Belgium.

Everything happened very quickly for this young Belgian artist of 23 years. Finalist of “The Voice”, Vianney wrote him “Et Bam” which became a huge success. She then accompanies the singer in the first part of his concerts, notably in Paris, at the Olympia. THE November 18, 2022 releases the first album of Mentissa: “La Vingtaine” under the label “Tôt ou tard”, which is also that of Vianney.
In February 2023, she was selected in the Female Revelation of the Year category at the Victoires de la Musique. Currentlyshe is on tour in France and Belgium.

A few days before the start of his first tourMentissa was in rehearsal at Palmer’s Rock of Cenon. This place regularly hosts artists in residence.

She worked there for three days, surrounded by her musicians, technicians and producers from Zouave (a subsidiary of “Tôt ou tard”). Simple and relaxed, but with a luminous presence, she greeted us with a big smile.

“For the first time, I am going to meet my audience. It’s true that I’ve already done a lot of concerts in a year and a half, but in the end, I don’t really know who the people who support me are. “ she explains.

Three days to refine the adaptation of his album for the stage with keyboard, drums and cello. The goal being to make “La XXe” dynamic is essentially composed of ballads which already resonate like hits when you listen to “Paris-Bruxelles”, “Balance” or “Le noise du silence”.

“These are live arrangements. We decided to hire an extra drummer. And it works. All of a sudden there are a lot of songs that take on a new form and there is a lot of energy in my concert” continues the singer.

About twenty dates are scheduled, many of which are sold out. This is the case with La Cigale in Paris, the Madeleine in Brussels or the Krakatoa in Merignac. “I’m not really considering this tour, recognizes the young woman. I think for once in my life, I will try not to control too much, not to project myself too much and let myself be carried away.
