After the accident at a waterfall in southeastern Brazil, divers from the fire brigade recovered three more bodies. This increased the number of deaths to ten. About 30 other people were injured. On Saturday, a huge rock at the Capitolio waterfall had detached itself from the slope and fell into the lake. At the time there were several excursion boats with tourists on the lake who wanted to visit the waterfall. The rock fell straight onto a boat and triggered a tidal wave. It had rained in the region for two weeks. Firefighters said the water may have loosened the rocks.
