Various video mapping attractions were displayed in the celebration 78th Indonesian Independence Day at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta. One of them is the reading of the text of the proclamation.
detikcom’s monitoring at the location, Thursday (17/8/2023) evening, the text of the proclamation was displayed in a video mapping at Monas. The residents seemed to be watching while documenting it.
“Proclamation, we the people of Indonesia hereby declare our independence. Matters concerning the transfer of power and other things, were carried out in an accurate manner and in the shortest possible time,” came the voice reading the proclamation.
The video mapping was then followed by other stories. After watching the video mapping, residents applauded.
One resident named Syahrial said he got goosebumps seeing the text of the proclamation being read out in the video mapping.
“Goosebumps, cool video,” said Syahrial.
He admitted that he had never seen a video mapping like that. According to him, the video mapping action was enough to cheer him up.
“Never, this is the first time,” he said.
