Fifteen days before the resumption of the Ligue 2 championship, the RAF was again on deck this Saturday to face Lens, two days after losing to Bastia 2-0. In a match that only lasted 60 minutes (Lens is playing a second friendly match this afternoon against Clermont also on Paul-Lignon’s lawn), the Ruthénois found the post through Nassim Ouammou. But that was not enough to turn the tide and the RAF lost on the smallest of scores (1-0), against a Lensoise team which had fielded a rejuvenated team despite the presence of international Jonathan Clauss.

During the sixty minutes played on Saturday in their usual den of Paul-Lignon, the Ruthenian staff decided not to make any changes except for the goalkeeper position (Mpasi was replaced by the rookie Cibois at halftime). Not sure, but they are the same people who had already started the match (lost, 2-0) against Bastia on Thursday. Still, the RAF has only won once since the start of its preparation. It was against Montpellier thanks to a goal from former TFC player Kylian Corredor. Results that must nevertheless be qualified since the teammates of Rémy Boissier faced two formations of the level above.
