Last week announced The Sun a video where one can see UK Health Minister Matt Hancock kissing with adviser Gina Coladangelo. Since then, there has been a storm around the Minister of Health, who chose to resign his position.
Both Hancock and Coladangelo are married and have three children each. The photo of the two kissing is said to have been taken on May 6, more than a week before the UK repealed the rules on social distance for people from different households.
In the aftermath of the leak, several people have wondered how a video clip from inside Hancock’s office reached the media.
To be investigated
Northern Ireland’s Secretary of State Brandon Lewis says BBC that the case will now be investigated.
– We have to find out how this has happened and what we are going to do about it, Lewis says.
According to The Sun, the newspaper received the photos from a worried Whitehall “whistleblower”. A whistleblower is a whistleblower in working life, often an employee, who draws attention to criticisable conditions in the workplace.
– We have to worry about how someone has managed to obtain a video recording from inside a government building, says Lewis, who believes the investigation will take a look at the security cameras installed in the building.
– Completely unacceptable
Hancock’s predecessor, Jeremy Hunt, has made it clear that security around Whitehall needs a thorough review.
– In terms of security, it is completely unacceptable for ministers to be filmed from inside their offices without knowing it. This is something that should be investigated very, very thoroughly.
