On this journey, the show goes with a man who has enjoyed superstar and idol status in his lifetime – Kaspars Daugavins Since 2015, he has been the captain of the Latvian national hockey team, participated in 10 world championships and three Olympic tournaments. After this year’s Olympic Games, he finished his career in the Latvian national team, but still plays in the Swiss club “SC Bern”.

The Škoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV is a 100% electric car powered by two electric motors. One of them is located on the front of the car, the other – on the rear axle. Thanks to this arrangement of engines, it has all-wheel drive, but at the same time its construction is quite simple – there is no cardan shaft or gearbox. As a result, the Enyaq Coupe RS iV will also be much cheaper to operate than its petrol or diesel car. In addition, the cost per kilometer is incomparably lower, as fuel prices are now higher than ever.

You can drive 100 kilometers with the Škoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV, which costs around two to four euros, depending on the type of electrical connection. At fast charging stations, this price will increase, but it will still be incomparably lower than with internal combustion engines. In addition, the Enyaq Coupe RS iV has a power output of 220 kW (299 hp) and can reach 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds.

The Škoda has absorbed all the magic and traditions of the German automotive industry just like a sponge, and is offering these products to its customers at an ever-increasing level, complementing these products with its own ideas and design features. At times, it is even interesting to see and predict how far Škoda’s mother Volkswagen will allow the brand to go, because, as usual (at least in the past), subordination had to be observed in such companies. However, today, if you obscure the brand logo, it will be really difficult to tell whether this is VW, Škoda, SEAT or even Audi.

Interestingly, this car battery pack is manufactured in Europe at Škoda’s main plant and is used in all other electric cars produced by the VW Group on the MEB platform. It also helps to ensure greater independence in the supply of components, which we know can be difficult in longer supply chains.

In terms of charging, this car can also be charged at home. Of course, this can also be done using a standard 220V socket, but it will take a long time. However, you can use the portable charger included in the price of this car (a kind of miniature “Wallbox”) – it is intended for use in connection with a three-phase or 380V electrical connection. On the other hand, in fast charging stations, 80% charging of the battery will take a little over half an hour.
