“Jerusalema-Challenge”: Clinic staff shoots music video
Inspired by the many videos that were posted on social networks and show the “Jerusalema-Challenge”, which inspired millions of people around the world in 2020, the medical staff at the University Clinic Schleswig-Holstein decided to make their own video rotate. The recordings show the employees in the corridors and operating theaters, in which they have been spending more time than usual since the pandemic. Nevertheless, the shooting was a nice change from everyday hospital life, says spokeswoman Anna Dammrich-Warth: “The spirit was terrific. So it was really so that everyone participated with enthusiasm, even those who were very stressed, now all the time. I mean we’ve been in the pandemic for a year now. And they too enjoyed this whole story. It it was just a quick step out, take a deep breath, forget everything around you. ” The number of new infections every day in Germany has fallen in recent weeks. However, the restrictions have been extended to March 7th as concerns about the effects of the more infectious variants grow. Warth feels hope in the spirit of the “Jerusalema Challenge”: “I think the ‘missing link’ is that the Jerusalema Challenge should already indicate that we stand together. So even in this crisis we stand together and only together we’ll get through there. And this zest for life has to be maintained. So even in the darkest hours we have to believe that it will get better at some point and it will get better. I am firmly convinced of that. ” The song by the South African producer Master KG has already been clicked over 330 million times on YouTube. It was sung by the singer Nomcebo Zikode.
