The guest of the show is Ingmārs Līdaka – a man we know with nature protection activities and events at the Riga Zoo. He was its head for a few years, but for a long time before that, as now, he was an education specialist. However, in addition to his passion for nature research, Ingmārs Līdaka has also worked in several parliamentary terms. One vivid episode that many remember is his passionate performance in the rostrum on public holidays and the later folklore saying “close your mouth!”. We asked if Ingmārs sees cases in Latvian politics today when he would like to say something similar…

For the modernized Dacia Duster, the visual change is not too great. The Duster has kept its waterline – it has been refreshed with facial features and modern LED headlights that are easily recognizable by the Y-shaped line, as well as it has new design discs and a small tail on the top edge of the boot lid!

In turn, the salon “Duster” has become more modern than ever. An eight-inch touchscreen to which you can connect your mobile phone, a 360-degree “Multi View” camera makes driving easier in opaque environments, just like GPS navigation. In addition, the car can be equipped with blind spot sensors and an emergency brake assistant.

When it comes to engines, the Duster isn’t a “voracious” off-roader; its “heart” volume is from one liter to one and a half, depending on the version. The offer includes LPG, petrol and diesel engines with a capacity of 90 to 150 hp. The 2WD version can now be paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the 4×4 version is only available with a manual transmission.

To enjoy the scenes of Latvian forests from time to time and drive in the mushrooms, the front-wheel drive version of “Duster” is enough. The show also proved this on this test drive, because, as we already know, one of the main factors for good trekking is the ground clearance, and Duster can’t complain about that, as it reaches 210 mm. Of course, if life is more in remote corners of Latvia than in the city, 4×4 will be the right choice, because, equipped with all the towing vehicles, “Duster” will not be afraid to get dirty tires.
