The cloud engulfed New York’s skyscrapers in just a few minutes. A video, taken at the top of One World Trade Center, in Manhattan, shows the awesome snowstorm which hit New York late in the afternoon. So little snow fell in total (about a centimeter), the speed with which the whole city was covered with a white coat pleased Internet users, who shared the images of the phenomenon by the thousands.
Other regions of the northeastern United States were more affected by the winter weather. In Connecticut, traffic was interrupted on a long stretch of highway, as the snow made visibility poor. In Pennsylvania, snow caused a massive traffic accident, involving around 30 vehicles, including 20 semi-trailers. Two people were killed and 40 others injured.
