The sequence makes you smile. During his visit to Northern Ireland on Tuesday 13 September, as part of his tribute tour to his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died on 8 September, Charles III lost his temper. The monarch, enthroned for a few days, was annoyed by a quill whose ink was running when he signed a guest book at Hillsborough Castel, near Belfast.
“God, I hate it”he cursed, rising from the office where he was about to sign the guest book. When her wife, Queen Consort Camilla, came to her rescue by asking the counselors in her room for a handkerchief – her and pointing out to her husband that “is losing everywhere” exclaimed the king, very annoyed “I can’t stand this damn thing, that’s what they do every time”, when you leave the room. Finally, Camilla sat down at her desk to sign the guest book with another pen.
