Manchester City is stuck in the Premier League. The “Citizens” took in the evening game at home against stragglers West Bromwich only 1: 1 (1: 1).
Ilkay Gündogan (30th) gave City the lead after half an hour, but an own goal by Ruben Dias (43rd) gave the outsider the equalizer shortly before the break.
Sam Johnstone in the goal of West Bromwich could not be overcome even in the final assault of the home side. City is now sixth, but there is a risk of a relapse on Wednesday after the remaining games in the round.
