The facts happened Monday, June 21 around 6.30 p.m. next to the Parc des Poètes, in the Olympic-Village at Grenoble (Isère), in front of the inhabitants of the district. The scene was captured by witnesses and broadcast on social networks, relayed by News 17.
There, obviously very excited and armed with a knife, a man began to intentionally cut himself at the wrists.

Knife in hand
Alerted, a police crew immediately went to the scene.
On the video, we see the police, four in number, pointing their weapons in the direction of the man who comes out of the park with a determined step and walks towards them, his knife in his hand.
Defense shots
The officials urged him to drop his weapon, to no avail. A first policeman fires in the direction of the body of the recalcitrant, with a defense ball launcher. This has no effect.
Then the man turns around and walks towards the police again. One of them fired twice, aiming at the lower limbs, hitting the madman in the leg.
Injured, the man was taken care of by a team from Samu 38 before being taken to CHU Grenoble Alpes.
