However, new systems and applications are now being developed and offered that allow the game sessions of the consoles to be transferred to other devices, allowing the player to enjoy their games from their own computer, mobile or tablet remotely, without need to have the presence of the console, provided there is an Internet connection.
Of course, the player can only transfer the game from one device to another so you can not play the same game on both devices at the same time. That is, if someone decides to transfer their game to their laptop, another person cannot play the same game from the console on television.
This function is currently offered by PlayStation on its PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, and Xbox with its Xbox One and Xbox One S, which allow you to transfer your games from consoles to other devices through different applications that can be applied to both Mac computers and Windows as to Android and iOS devices.
PS4 REMOTE PLAY
PS4 Remote Play is a Sony application for PlayStation 4 that allows the user to manage their console remotely so that they can play their games from the computer on both Mac and Windows, in addition to accessing all the tools offered your console when connected to television.
“If you have this application installed on your PC or Mac, you will enjoy an immersive gaming experience on PlayStation while it is remotely connected to your PS4 system,” they explain on the official website of the ‘app’.
For this, the user must have a PlayStation Network account, DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, USB cable or DUALSHOCK 4 USB wireless adapter and high-speed Internet connection with upload and download speeds of at least 15 Mbps (megabits per second).
In addition, you must have version 7.00 or later of the PS4 system and Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 on the computer. The PC must have an Intel Core i5-560M processor of 2.67 GHz or higher, or i5-2450M 2.50 GHz or higher; minimum 100 megabytes (MB) of available storage; 2 GB or more of RAM; 1024×768 or higher screen resolution; sound card; and USB port.
For Mac you will have to have macOS High Sierra, Mojave or Catalina, Intel Core i5-520M processor 2.40 GHz or higher, 40MB of minimum storage and 2GB of RAM, and USB port.
Once the user makes sure that he meets the requirements, to run the service, he must install the application whose download file can be downloaded from the official PlayStation page. In addition, you will have to configure your PS4 system so you must activate remote use through settings, where you will also have to activate the system as your main PS4 system.

On the other hand, there is another application for Xbox One called OneCast available for Android, macOS and iOS, which allows you to transfer the games from the console to any device with “high definition video with near-zero latency”, as they say from their website .
Despite this, like the companion app, it only allows the user to use the home network to access his console remotely. In addition, it establishes as a requirement that in iOS it has version 10.0 or later. It has a price of $ 11.99, that is, approximately 10.90 euros.
