The pandemic has affected more than expected the development of the flagship game of the Xbox Series X that was supposed to accompany the release of this new console.
Originally, “Halo Infinite” was slated to launch alongside the new Xbox Series X last November, but the coronavirus pandemic ultimately affected the development of Microsoft’s flagship game for the new console. Last summer, it was postponed to 2021. The game, which was to mark the 20th anniversary of the saga, will finally be released later than expected by its fans. The development studio specified that it will arrive at the end of next year, in the fall.

The studio also took advantage of this announcement to show a first multiplayer map, as well as various characters and armor. When released, the game will be available on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and the Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming service.
