It’s a thunderous way to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the license: Ubisoft and Overlook Events just announced a concert “Philharmonic and immersive”. Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure – The Immersive Concert, this is the official name of this tour, will begin with a premiere at the Grand Rex (Paris) on October 29, 2022.
More than 100 musicians on stage
To beat time, an orchestra of more than a hundred musicians and a choir “With a full range of various instruments and vocal soloists”, explains the official site, will reinterpret the scores of the different opus: more than a hundred compositions for “To restore the best orchestral experience in the world of video game music”. Nothing less.
So what about the immersive side? The experience promises to synchronize ” precisely “ music to images that will be broadcast on a giant cinema screen. The organizers promise a scripted and staged show specially for the occasion to retrace the history of each title. For the world premiere, Jesper Kyd, one of the historical composers of the saga, signs “A new and exclusive opening piece, as part of the celebration of fifteen years”.
A show in four acts
To pay tribute to the saga, an unprecedented introduction, by Jesper Kyd, entitled From the Depths of History. The first part, “The foundations” will evoke Odyssey (The Flight · Mike Georgiades), Origins (Sarah Schachner) and Valhalla (Jesper Kyd · Sarah Schachner · Einar Selvik).
The second, “Quest for Truth”, will focus on the themes ofAssassin’s Creed (Jesper Kyd), Assassin’s Creed II (Jesper Kyd), Brotherhood (Jesper Kyd) et Revelations (Jesper Kyd and Lorne Balfe).
The third, “The New World”, will feature Blackflag (Brian Tyler), Assassin’s Creed III (Lorne Balfe) et Rogue (Elitsa Alexandrova). Finally, the fourth and final part, “An era of change”, will play the tracks ofAssassin’s Creed Unity (Sarah Schachner, Chris Tilton, Ryan Amon), d’Assassin’s Creed Synidcate (Austin Wintory) and will reserve a surprise finale.
VIP seats by the hundreds
Overlook Events also organizes concerts Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure or Saint Seiya Symphonic Adventure (also scheduled for 2022 with seats at € 39.90 at the Grand Rex). Assassin’s Creed Symphonic Adventure should follow the same pattern of coordination between sound and image.
If the price of tickets for the concert Assassin’s Creed is not yet online at the time of this writing, tickets going on sale at 6 p.m., we already know that there are several categories : 10 VIP “Legendary Assassins” seats (early entry, gold square, various goodies and above all access to rehearsals and dedications at the end of the concert), 15 “Legendary Templar” VIP seats more or less equivalent, then some 300 more seats privileged compared to the rest of the conventional seats.
