TEXAS – The alleged sale of a video game in Fort Worth ended in a deadly confrontation.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the events occurred on November 15 in the vicinity of Ranch Hand Trail and E Harmon Road.
The report indicates that two people agreed to meet there and that the buyer gave the seller $ 700 for a console, but at the same time also offered to sell him video games.
When the buyer began to check the console in the backpack he realized that it was not like the one they agreed on.
It was at this point that the vendor started running from the place and the vendor ordered him to stop.
The latter then took out a pistol and, according to the report, fired twice at the floor but when he saw that the seller did not stop, he fired at him.
The victim then suffered gunshot wounds while the suspect offered first aid while they waited for paramedics to arrive.
As a result, the victim died and on Monday, November 22, authorities confirmed the arrest of Mateo DeAnda in connection with the incident.
DeAnda is currently in the Tarrant County Jail but it was not immediately disclosed whether bail was set.
