The West Ham United condemned the videos of Kurt Zouma, who appears kicking and slapping his cat, and said he will treat the matter internally.
The British tabloid “The Sun” uncovered some recordings in which the French defender appears kicking his cat and slapping him, as a form of fun.
“I want to apologize for my actions. There are no excuses for my behavior, which I sincerely regret,” Zouma said in a statement. “I also want to apologize to everyone who has seen the video. The cats are well, safe and sound.”

“Everyone in the family loves you. This behavior was an isolated event and will not happen again, ” he added.
The West Ham condemned their actions and noted that they have spoken to Zouma and that they will deal with the matter internally. ” We want to make it clear that we do not tolerate cruelty to animals in any way, ” the Hammer Club added.
Zouma came to West Ham this summer from Chelsea, in exchange for more than $ 30 million.
